YOU CANNOT UPLOAD FLASH MOVIES TO BLOGSPOT. EVER.

this does not mean that you can't have flash movies on your blogspot blog; it just means that you need to put the movie somewhere else. the most obvious, immediately accessible and (most importantly) free option is photobucket. as well as photos and videos, photobucket allows you to upload flash movies. if you don't have an account already, sign up (it's money-free, spam-free and takes about eleven seconds) and upload your flash movie. as soon as it's done, it will show you a 'flash program' icon and three fields; url, tag and img. step-by-step, here's what to do:

select all of the text in the url field and copy it
click on the flash program icon
make a note of the dimensions underneath the movie (width x height)
now edit the code that i've given you accordingly
the embed code should now look something like this:

now all you have to do is insert your new embed code into your blog and voila! - you have just put a flash movie in your blog. huzzah!
